Reknown Media personality Mc Kats officially launched the Mc Kats Foundation on Wednesday this week. Kats is known to be one of the people who have spearheaded the battle against Aids and the stigmatization of people suffering from HIV/AIDS.
The NBS After5 host explained in an interview that he doesn’t have sponsors for his foundation to fully operate. He then mentioned that he needs support to empower young people living with HIV/AIDS and make them see that that is not the end of life, but rather the beginning of a new one and that they can live comfortably knowing they have come to terms with their status.
Kats is looking at making tours to Universities across the country, sensitizing the youth about the dangers of AIDS and how they can keep themselves free of the deadly disease.
He made the revelations about his dreams, goals and the lack of sponsorship through an interview with BBS Terefayina. He however mentioned that as soon as there were sponsors, the Foundation was ready to kick start operations and change lives of those living with AIDS.
I don’t have sponsors for the foundation but I need them to come on board and join hands with me to fight the disease
