Azawi herself seems not to be in the know of the impact she has in the music industry and on her fans alltogether. Innocently, she threw a successful concert in July and gave a magnificent performance in Lugogo that up to now, people were left yearning for more of her.
For an artiste who has not made half a decade in the industry Azawi is loved to the moon and back and she is also celebrated by the likes of Nigeria’s DJ Neptune, she is praised by big artists like Fireboy DML who said he wouldn’t mind a collabo, she lived up to her name and she indeed was one of the artistes to watch out for in 2022 by music channel MTV Base.
The concert Azawi staged also received only wonderful and mind-blowing reviews in mainstream media, social media and from local entertainment critics as well as television channels.
Azawi has revealed that she is still recovering from her maiden concert months ago,up to now. According to the singer, she was too overwhelmed by the turn up and to this day still visualizes the crowd, hears them screaming out her name when she sleeps. She mentions that she was shocked by the impact she has had on people.
I’m still recovering because besides even the crowd just turning up, the chemistry I had on stage with them was amazing. It is like we were just having a good time. It was not even about the show. It was just like my friends converged in one place and we were having fun.
