Bobi Wine’s son Shadrack Mbogo shocked Netizen’s when he recently expressed interest in joining Uganda People’s Defense Forces (UPDF). The young boy filmed a video in which he was responding to people who have been asking if he has ambitions of becoming a politician.
It should be recalled that the young Kyagulanyi was the winner of the election to become the head prefect of Hillside Naalya Primary School in February earlier this year. This is what spiked the curiosity of the public to find out whether he had any aspirations of pursuing politics just like his father.
His mother, Barbie Kyagulanyi, better known as Barbie, shared the news of his election on social media, mentioning how proud she was of having a young and competent son like him. To the shock of many, however, Mbogo seems to have no interest in politics, according to a TikTok video he shared widely.
In this video, he mentioned that many people were asking him about his journey and future aspirations and whether he wanted to become a politician so he saw the need to respond to them. He mentioned that he had no intentions of going forward with politics but rather wanted to join the National Forces.
“People have been asking me since I was a head prefect if I’m going to join politics. Well, personally I don’t want to join politics, I want to join the army, and I can’t tell the future, so I just have to wait and see.”
