Spice Diana concluded her concert that was held at Lugogo Cricket Oval and it was a great success to her as the revelers that turned up for the event according to her were unexpected. She mentioned that everyone showered her with so much love, even more than she had ever expected to receive.
Revelers were quick to notice Spice Diana’s dress code as they turned it into the hottest topic, mentioning that she was emulating international stars like Rihanna and Beyoncé, something she did not set her attention to as it did not seem to bother her.
The other thing that revelers noticed was that however much the stage was well set up, the sound was very much lacking and she had a long way to go in fixing that issue. Some also went ahead to mention that the sound was not bad at all but rather it was Spice that did not know how to sing live with a band hence it should not be blamed on the sound systems she used.
In as much as critics are always expected to come out and give their own views, it rubbed Spice Diana in the wrong way as many were comparing her to international stars like Beyoncé, Celine Dion who are very good at staging shows with live bands spice also was also quick to question whether those criticizing her live performance wanted her to sing like Celine Dion or Beyoncé.
Through Snapchat on Monday night, the musician questioned if people were expecting her to pull off Beyoncé or Celine Dion’s vocals yet she was not either of the celebrated artistes. She then went ahead and concluded that they were simply haters who had failed to handle her success hence choosing to downplay her.
“My concert was too big and expensive production for haters to handle. 1 understand your pain mbu live band tebyanyumye did you expect me to sing like Celine Dion? I am spice Diana. she wrote.
She therefore mentioned that the haters should talk about the good things that were witnessed at the concert instead of hating on her. She therefore sent them to visit her you tube if they wanted to listen to the perfect version of her songs instead of bothering her.
Netizens however have also not taken this clap back lightly as some have been heard coming out to ask Spice Diana for an apology for being harsh with her fans who were only being “observant”
