On the 29th of September and the 1st of October 2023, Uganda had the honour of hosting the global icon, Fally Ipupa. Fans eagerly anticipated his arrival, as it marked a comeback after a previous disappointment.
Back in 2019, Fally Ipupa was slated to perform in Uganda when the events promotion company 243 Events offered him a substantial sum of £85,000, along with an additional £10,000. Unfortunately, he failed to show up, leaving fans disheartened.
However, the musician finally made his appearance on the 29th of September, 2023, in Arua, Uganda. The event drew an immense crowd of music enthusiasts who came to witness his long-awaited performance.
Fally Ipupa did not disappoint, delivering an electrifying show that left the audience in awe.
While his performance in Arua was a massive success, the story took a different turn in Kampala. On the 1st of October, 2023, Fally Ipupa performed at Kampala Sheraton Gardens, but the turnout was not as impressive as his show in Arua on the previous Friday.
Expectations were high for a full-house, but the reality fell short of those hopes.
Despite the somewhat disappointing turnout in Kampala, Fally Ipupa’s talent shone brightly during his performances.
The Congolese crooner delighted lucky fans by inviting them to join him on stage, fulfilling the dreams of many who had longed for such an opportunity.
His mesmerizing dance skills not only left the audience in awe but also had them on their feet, grooving to the tunes of this incredibly talented artist.
