The recently concluded 8th edition of the Nyege Nyege Festival, generously sponsored by Uganda Waragi, unfolded as a vibrant celebration of culture, art, and music against the backdrop of the majestic source of the Nile last weekend.
Remaining deeply rooted in its cultural origins, the festival showcased traditional performances on a dedicated cultural stage, one of the five stages spread across the conjoined venues. The main stage, Hakuna Kulala stage, Smirnoff Fiesta stage, Uganda Waragi stage, and the Busoga stage collectively provided revelers with unique experiences fueled by diverse artistic expressions.

The journey through the festival grounds unveiled a stunning array of art and crafts leading to the Smirnoff Fiesta and Hakuna Kulala stages, capturing the attention of attendees who eagerly stopped to acquire souvenirs during the four-day extravaganza.
The international and local artists, along with popular DJs such as Bugy, Alza, Slick Stuart, Kii, and more, left an indelible mark with their memorable performances at the Smirnoff Fiesta Stage.

Reflecting on the experience, Judie Nandekya, Smirnoff Brand Manager at Uganda Breweries Limited, expressed, “Smirnoff speaks to the modern and trendy consumer, and we specifically curated the Smirnoff Fiesta stage to cater to their interests through music.”

Organized by Talent Africa Group and powered by Uganda Waragi, this annual four-day spectacle took place at the enchanting Nyege Wonderland in Jinja, drawing in a diverse multitude of revelers from across the world.
