In Luuka district, 30-year-old Ivan Bandese shocked onlookers as he embraced a bizarre dare, undressing completely to ride a motorcycle for 2 kilometers, all for a reward of Shs 20,000. The daring spectacle unfolded from Nsambya Trading Centre in Ikumbya sub-county to Ikumbya town, drawing a curious crowd along the route.
Eyewitness Andrew Agaife reported that residents gathered along the road to witness the unusual event, with Bandese boldly waving past them, wearing nothing but a smile. However, as he approached Ikumbya town, the mood shifted, and instead of cheers, residents armed with sticks emerged, ready to cane the daring rider.
Undeterred, Bandese accelerated through the potential obstacles, reaching the finish line where, despite the unexpected turn of events, he was rewarded with the promised Shs 20,000. This incident marks the second in a series of unusual occurrences in Busoga, following a similar naked bicycle ride in Bugweri district a year ago.
