On June 29, the Jameson Hangout do will have Maurice Kirya as the headlining act, at Ndere Centre – Ntinda, a Kampala suburb.

The confirmation of the lineup, released by organisers – Talent Africa Group, today, June 24, comes a few weeks after the mwoyo-themed musician launched a series of acoustic performances of his music, at intimate, close range sessions with his ardent fans in various locations.

With a targeted audience comprising youth aged 22 to 34, characterized as easygoing, hip, social connectors, and free-spirited partygoers from upscale Kampala, who only live in the moment and radiate positivity, seems to be a perfect fit for the first of the year.

The previous edition of Jameson Hangout, held last year in November, featured performances from Nigerian star Blaqbonez, Lilian Mbabazi, Mike Mungu, and others who left the audience yearning for more.

Kirya will be joined by rapper Fik Fameica, London-based singer and songwriter Qoha, together with South Africa’s Tag Team comprising of Buhle Joint and Dj Emakay.

For a more thrilling party, the lineup will be complemented by Sente together with Professor Joewi and the Black Wave Sounds. In charge of the music will be DJ Kasbaby, Melvin, DJ Tony, Alza, and Marlyin Dj. Viana Indi, Adele Kiele, and Lynda Ddane will keep the hype up throughout the entire experience.

With Kirya’s new single Ebigambo, featuring his brother Elvis Kirya, a.k.a Vampino, set for release just a day before his act at the Jameson hangout do, the two musical brothers could grace their fans with appearance on the same stage.

Jameson Hangout is organized by Talent Africa Group and Pernod Ricard in partnership with Safeboda.
