In a dazzling display of elegance, talent, and charisma, Ndamurani Victoria Abwooli Nyakalebeki was crowned the Miss Tourism Bunyoro Region 2024/25 at the esteemed Kabalega Resort in Masindi on Sunday, August 11, 2024. This event, attended by a distinguished audience, marked a monumental achievement for the 22-year-old Makerere University student, who made history as the first Miss Tourism Bunyoro hailing from Kiryandongo District. Following closely behind were Mbabazi Immaculate as the 1st runner-up and Ayesiga Daphine as the 2nd runner-up.

The evening’s festivities, which took place from 8:00 pm to 11:45 pm, celebrated the rich cultural heritage of the Bunyoro region, featuring vibrant performances by local artists and a glittering ceremony that captivated all attendees. Victoria’s victory was met with thunderous applause and cheers, acknowledging her intelligence, beauty, and her dedication to promoting tourism in Bunyoro.

As the newly crowned ambassadors, Victoria, Immaculate, and Daphine are poised to champion the causes of tourism growth, environmental conservation, and regional development. Their success is a testament to their commitment and hard work, setting them up to make a significant impact within their community and beyond.

The event drew an array of esteemed guests, including Eng. Asiimwe Jonard, the guest of honor, officials from the Bunyoro Kitara Kingdom, Miss Tourism Uganda-PA officials, and representatives from Link Bus Services Ltd, who graciously provided free one-year transportation services to the top three winners.

Victoria’s groundbreaking win heralds a new era for the Miss Tourism Bunyoro Region pageant, which aims to foster tourism growth and development in the region. As the first Miss Tourism Bunyoro from Kiryandongo District, Victoria is poised to leave a lasting legacy in her community and inspire others to follow her example.

Congratulations to the new Miss Tourism Bunyoro 2024/25, Ndamurani Victoria Abwooli Nyakalebeki, along with her fellow titleholders, Mbabazi Immaculate and Ayesiga Daphine. They will proudly represent the Bunyoro region at the national Miss Tourism Uganda grand finale, scheduled for September 14 at the Kampala Serena Hotel.
