Biography:
Daddy Andre, born Ojambo Andrew is a Ugandan producer, singer, song writer and platinum recording artist who is signed under Black Market Records. He is known for making platinum hit singles like Sikikukweka and Tugende Mu Church which he wrote, sung and produced himself. These songs turned into massive hits in Uganda.
Daddy Andre was born on 12 August 1980 in Nsambya a suburb of Kampala Uganda to parents Margret Nekesa and Jackson Ojambo who he lived with throughout his childhood with 5 other brothers and sisters. He later u fortunately lost his mother at the age of six which left him living with his Father alone.
Andre studied at at Modern Secondary School where he acquired his Uganda Certificate of Education at the ordinary level. He late joined Old Kampala Secondary School where he acquired his Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education for Advanced Level Education in Uganda.
Daddy Andre was a producer first before actually venturing into the musical scene. He started his music production in 2010 where he used to visit popular studios where he learnt how to produce and make beats. He however got his production breakthrough in 2014 with songs like Weekend by Sheebah Karungi.
Daddy Andre is currently not married but was engaged to popular female singer Nina Roz whom they later separated and canceled the engagement in 2021 right after their unique introduction ceremony.
He however has been in a number of relationships popularly with singers Angella Katatumba and Karole Kasita. He broke off his relationship with Katatumba after she complained that he had refused to go for HIV testing and she felt unsafe with him.
Daddy Andre was the first act to be signed under Black Market Records where he was signed both as a producer and singer in 2017 before releasing his first hits Nsowera and You and me with Lydia Jazmine.
Daddy Andre is currently estimated to have a net worth of 300 million Uganda Shillings which is largely from his music career and production house. His production house alone, according to records makes over 50 million Uganda shillings annually from only production.
