Biography:
Kiirya Beats , born Kiirya Moses, is a Ugandan music producer, sound engineer, online beat maker, musician as well as entrepreneur. He was born on 23 February 1992 in kampala. Kiirya Beats is the founder of Verscope records. Kiirya Beats was raised by both of his parents and later they separated at an early age that led Kiirya beats to end up selling food on the streets of kampala at the age of 12
For his studies, Kiirya attended Nakivubo settlement primary school for his primary. He then later joined a vocational training institute where he learnt motor vehicle technology maintenance and repair as well as driving. At the peak of his life, he spent two years working as a mechanic in the garage and later joined Kinyara Sugar Works Limited and worked there as a driver for a year.
Kiirya Beats was inspired by his mother who was the church choir lead singer to also venture into the entertainment industry. His passion was further fueled after joining school where he met a lot of friends and they participated in school singing competitions.
In 2008 he met with two friends named Muhindo Romano and Alinaitwe Ronald and they started doing music practice, singing and production. As time went by he later met with another friend called m16 in 2012 they formed a record label and a recording studio called Verscope Records where he used to make deals with independent musicians.
Kiirya Beats worked with live bands such as Uganda Police Jazz Band, Kabona Family and many more. In 2014 Kiirya Beats started a YouTube channel where he gives out free instrumentals and also music business tips that found success and featured on East African television channels that include NTV Uganda, NTV Kenya, Urban TV Uganda, Spark TV, Bukedde TV, BBS Telefaina and many more.
He is also known for working with artists like Willy Paul, Mejja, Lazeri, Yung Baller, Lizy Kurdz, Slaughterman, Mr straight, Fresh Kid Ug, Chika and producers like Dryo D'genius, Madder Kayz, Nigel Beats and among others.
