Feffe Bussi, born Mukiiza Frank is a Ugandan recording artist, songwriter, free-style rapper and an award-winning entertainer. He refers to himself as ‘the smallest rapper ‘ due to his slim composure. He is however one of the rappers that are dominating the Ugandan Hip-hop industry.

Feffe Bussi was born on 9 December 1993 to parents Nalongo Mary Baganizi and his  late father who passed on in 2009. The family lived in the ghettos of Nakulabye – Nabulagala and this is where he grew up from.

Mukiiza Frank went to Nakulabye Junior School for his primary education. He then joined Cityland College Matugga for O’Level and this is where he met Lydia Nabawanuka Jazmine whom he describes as being very intelligent in class. He went to Nile High School, Mukono for A ’Level and at this point, he branched off  to music.

According to Fefe Busi, branching off to music did not thrill his family as they expected him to be a lawyer. He however followed his heart and decided to earn from his talent
He enrolled at Makerere University but never did he step foot at the institution although he used to lie to his parents that he was an evening student of Journalism and Mass Communication.

He alternatively spent that time in studios around Makindye recording songs and working on his music career
Feffe Bussi has been in the music industry for close to seven years. He developed a passion and realized that he could do music in Form Five when he started mimicking G.N.L Zamba’s songs.

Many years ago, at the start of his career, Feffe Bussi started camping at Gravity Omutujju’s home until his hustle paid off. Perseverance and consistency gave him confidence in music up to when he released his first song called summertime in 2013.

After the first debut in 2013, he was still not popular but his breakthrough came in 2015.
His hit-song ‘Nsekula’ featuring already established Ugandan recording artist, dancer and actress Sheebah Karungi from Team No Sleep. Feffe Bussi released another banger dubbed Yes No in 2016 which endeared him to the Ugandan music audience.

He never stopped and it was in 2018 when he paved his position as one of the best rappers in Uganda when he released ‘Who is Who’ a song that awakened a huge hip-hop movement in Uganda. According to Fefe, he released ‘Who is Who’ to awaken rappers after he realized that the Ugandan Hip-hop industry was losing popularity to dancehall music.
