Zanie Brown, born Zanie Namugenyi is a Ugandan woman musician and prominent song writer. She was born on March 8 and she is undoubtedly one of the best and most talented singers in Uganda. She has won awards, such as the Rising Star Award for Best Female Rising Star.
Zanie Brown was raised by a single father but the whereabouts of her mother still remain a mystery as she never talks about her parents. Zanie Brown started singing at the age of 6 years and by then she was in primary school. She first entered in the professional music industry in 2013 by recording her first song under the direction of her producer.
Zanie is not only a musician but also an actress,, surprisingly. According to reports, the singer will feature in a movie from Ghana. Sources say that the Ghanaian film makers were looking for talented Ugandans to work with their actors from Ghana. They wanted the movie to have stories set in both Uganda and Ghana, and singer Zanie Brown got the job.
Ever since Zanie Brown started her Music Career, she has always protected her private life. She never once spoke about the father of her child until she showed his picture as she celebrated fathers day, congratulating him for being a good father to their child. She however did not reveal much about him, only his picture.
About her child, It was her first ever time to talk about her child as well. She exclusively revealed that her daughter stays in the UK with her father and other family members. Her daughter is called Randoh Koku.
